I think A&M could move into the OFTEN category. I would love to see that actally. I have missed the A&M rivalry in all sports. They also play a fun brand of volleyball, so I kinda hope that program has a resurgence, and is a real SEC contender every year.

I had to take a double-take at that. Looked like they were announcing intramural tournament at Minny where there was a chance to scrimmage some of the big college teams.

Really hope we see Byrd on the right next year. 2023 was the year for terminal opposites and Byrd can def be that for Texas

Is “The two-time defending national champions Texas Longhorns 2024 Thread” too long of a title?

During one of the tournament's game threads someone said, "Well, at least we know the SEC is going to have a team go deep in the tournament next year"
Wait, Kentucky? No, not Florida, puleeeze.
Oh wait, US! Yeah, now we're "the SEC team" that will consistently go deep in the tournament.
Made me think, other than Florida and Kentucky, don't know too much about the others...well other than realizing Tennessee does more than just women's basketball (and that's fading, again).
Who will be constant rivals to Texas? Who will be the equivalent of Iowa State (sometimes), K-State (sometimes and sometimes not), Kansas (often), and Baylor (often) in terms of giving us a tough game and the occasional (WTH!) loss?
My guesses:
OFTEN Kentucky Florida
SOMETIMES Tennessee A&M Arkansas
WTH? Georgia
NAH Everyone else
Anyone have more knowledge about the SEC and give their equivalents?
Kentucky and Florida should consistently be competitive.
UT really hasn't had in-conference foes at their level since Nebraska left the Big 12.

Kansas and Baylor were worthy rivals the past couple of years.
