I only caught the last set, but Jenna playing 6 is looking better and better. She has good rhythm with the pass-to-attack. Maybe she's one of those players that needs to do more and think less? I only saw set 1 but she even attempted a BIC and I shed a tear of joy. I wanna see her dominate in the SEC. We believe!!

skymoney played for busto arsizio this past season...busto was missing their undersized outside today Her decision to leave Texas set things in motion for two consecutive national titles and in the conversation for a third in 2024.

I think there’s a good chance that both of our outsides play 6 ro. Nothing I have seen of Reese convinces me that she’s better in the back row than Wenaas.

I mean, Wenaas has played 4 seasons of college volleyball as a starter. At least 2 of those at Minnesota consisted of her playing all 6 rotations, right? Emerick would have to be really good as a true freshman to be better with her serve receive and defense to beat her out.

I think she was actually used as a DS during her freshman season too. so three years of backrow play plus a year in the Texas gym

I’m not ready to rule out her being a ‘little’ if one of our excessive amount of pins proves to be more terminal. Edit: see above.

Edit: see above. i doubt it because we’d need to bring Madi into passing if someone like Byrd played front row for Jenna. Madi’s bic is more important, at least to me. I mean it’s probably the most unstoppable play in college volleyball heading into the season

I think there will be situations based on the matchup where a sideout is needed and a more terminal hitter needs to be brought in for Jenna; but, unless they are also a better blocker and passer than Wenaas, they won't unseat her from the starting lineup.
