really need Texas to get the win on friday. If it helps, I won't be able to watch live. It seems that whenever I can't tune in the team goes on a massive run, like set 1 vs Baylor. By the time I was able to watch it was something crazy like 19-8. Also the 2022 tournament match against Marquette - I had to take a work call in the hallway of the Greg during set 1 and by the time I got into the gym, it was 16-7ish. So, you're welcome. |

Wow! And that's the pro style blocking numbers, so no blocking assists included. Just whatever Mari herself touched. There's so much room for her to improve, but dang, what a place to start! Has anyone else notice that she is strangely very good at blocking one-on-one? IIRC it's usually a BIC - she just waits and watches. Maybe because she has to defend against Madi? |

Watched part of the Georgia v. Arky game last night. That gym seemed so quiet compared to the Greg. Hogs were up 2 sets and then lost 3rd 33-31.Squeaked out a win in the final set.
Also flipped on the Tennessee match.
In person it may look different but, on TV it seems the Vols saw TCU's court and said 'hold my beer'. The color of the orange border glares and makes it very difficult to see anything else.

I watched Wisconsin v. A&M last night. Even though the Aggies got swept, they have the potential to be deadly, especially at home: - Lednicky is great - Cos-Okpalla a top blocker nationally again, and it looks like her offense got an upgrade too - Their littles are great. Really good passing unit and digging everything. I'm glad the team has a full week to prepare, but I'm also a little nervous. Sometimes when we have too much time off they come back rusty. Things to focus on: - Jenna Wenaas 2024 Revenge Tour. She had a really painful match against the Aggies last year, I hope she comes out angry. - Middles slowing down Lednicky and Hellmuth - Madi doing Madi things - BIC BIC BIC - the people want it, JE - Production from opposites: good match from Reagan, maybe Whit over Devin? - All of our pins need to concentrate on high hands, line shots. Low seam / cross court is going to be punished by the A&M block i have been thinking about this post a lot. i'm concerned that the a&m block is going to eat them up.
