Question, how come so few teams/players use a side spin serve? I feel like it could be pretty effective. It's nuts in amateur ranks.

I decided to re-watch the Hawaii game on demand on ESPN+ to see what the complaints about the camera were and oh my goodness, that was painful to watch. For those who didn't watch in person or the replay, essentially the producer decided to only focus on about 50% of the court. Serve went long? You didn't see it. Apparently the producer has dictated that the camera should follow the ball and so there's a lot of "jerking" around.
Who do I write to complain about this? And they can't pull that lame excuse about "it's the size of Gregory that forces us to focus that closely". C'mon. LHN had no problem broadcasting it like the other ESPN+ channels. It's gotta be the producer/director. I guess they didn't keep the old LHN crew around when it folded.
Both CDC and JE...tell them to watch the match on espn + app. on-demand...they will inform whoever needs to know ALSO, please delete the floating 'point Texas' graphic. I was watching on a laptop while traveling and it was nauseating to watch.

I think it would be lovely if the fans stopped with the "we.are.Texas".

I think it would be lovely if the fans stopped with the "we.are.Texas". They have to constantly remind themselves they go to Texas or that they live in Texas

If anyone was wondering… George Washington is 10-3, and Reilly is leading the team in sets and matches played, and digs/set! (3.41) She joins many other former longhorns who continue to shine at their respective programs

Wow! And that's the pro style blocking numbers, so no blocking assists included. Just whatever Mari herself touched. There's so much room for her to improve, but dang, what a place to start!

Has anyone else notice that she is strangely very good at blocking one-on-one? Yes! I saw on the stats she has 6 solo blocks already. That seemed like a big number, so I looked at last year's stats to compare. Asjia had 10 solo blocks on the year and Bella had 7.
