There are limits to how many players can travel for conference matches. I remember getting left behind on a trip when I played D3 in college yeah i know — it’s 16 (or at least it was for the Big 12) it was just sad seeing them feature her for a game she didn’t even travel for Maybe she was busy, so when they had to leave someone behind, she took the opportunity to get some extra time and take care of other stuff. It is too bad though. I've noticed she's such a good cheerleader from the bench and every timeout she walks forward and is the first person to high five and cheer on the players on the court as they walk to the bench.

She had one or two questionable sets yesterday but I do recall her first being ten feet off the net and I was like yes, Emma, I'd rather it be ten feet off than four inches on lol

So I don't enjoy Texas being down 6 points ever, but that first set comeback was impressive. Same thing happened against South Carolina. Great to see the leadership, gritty play and calm heads on the team. After we completed that first set comeback at home against South Carolina, I thought to myself that we better not dig that kind of hole at Florida as the result won't be the same. Shows what I know! Was she on the bench for the home match against South Carolina? Back a few years ago when we also had a roster size greater than the travel limit, it appeared that JE rotated not traveling among the players not expected to play. In 2017 I remember Brionne Butler not traveling to at least a match or two when she was redshirting. I don't know if that is still JE's practice for travel squads or not. I guess my first speculation would be that she is injured and not available to play. My other thought, and one that I hope is not correct, is that she has privately indicated the intention to transfer at season's end. However I think being injured is more likely.

Yes, Byrd was shown during one of the timeouts dressed in uniform

Tell me why our middles are the most consistent and I was most worried about them before the season 😂

Tell me why our middles are the most consistent and I was most worried about them before the season 😂 Part of this is JE's coaching adjustment getting the setters to set 1.5s and 2s to help our young MBS
