hornfanaustin Any idea how Texas played at Oklahoma and vs Nebraska on Oct 9th, 1982. I've seen some schedules back then and they would play several weekend tournaments much like high school teams do today with several teams in the tournament. They would often play 3 or 4 matches a day with the matches being 2 out of 3 sets and even some that were just 2 sets. Some of our season records in the 80s do have ties. Therefore teams would play 40 something or even 50 something matches in a year.

The number to the left of the teams is the date (the letter is the month) that the game was played. Two things: 1. SO many invitationals 2. Often they played 2-3 games in the same day

Looks like Kentucky is not a great blocking or digging team, but is a really good serving team
