Wish list for Kentucky match:
- Keep up 3 blocks/set, shut down of Deleye - Line shots over Grome on the left pin - Tough serves, good passing - Better hitting from Rutherford / Wenaas - Devin continues her "I ain't going anywhere" tour - Madi above .400 - 10 aces - Em-ma-Hal-ter clap clap clapclapclap

2) Look on their schedule and select any past or upcoming opponent, in this case Kentucky. Select the Kentucky link: stats.ncaa.org/teams/585248
3) Within the Kentucky page, select Team Statistics
And that will pretty much give you the equivalent data.
Also, if you click on the individual players, it will show you their playing history. I use that to figure out where players transferred from/to.
Is that what you were looking for? The difference is it doesn't do the "math" for you. i.e. blocks/set or digs/set.

as long as we don’t get aced off the court for some reason, Kentucky isn’t a team that just scares me a ton, but I do think their serving will keep them in it.
but Madi/Jenna shouldn’t have trouble hitting against Grome/Wilson, and their outsides aren’t good blockers either really so I’m not too worried about our OOS game.
teams like Texas A&M, Arkansas, and Oklahoma with good blocks scare me a bit more lol. Arkansas probably the most with how good of a blocker Thurman is and then if you go cross court to avoid her, you’re swinging at Courtney Jackson who has been amazing this season.

LOL I was literally looking for someone to do the math for me. But anyway, it looks like we will be serving Deleye because everyone serves Deleye

Wow, you can't get much more 'feast or famine' than Olivia Babcock when it comes to serving. *22.4%* ace rate?!? But then that 19% error rate brings you back down to earth real quick.

I never understand their rankings, like it does not make sense to me
Babcock leads in every statistical category, just has a high error rate
Is that what puts Halter above her?
In fact, it looks like even Raina Terry per the stats has a better serve
Idk im just confused

Emma taking top spot over Babcock even after that set 2 run vs BC is crazy but I’ll take it. I was also worried about Pitts serve come December but being that we have 3 in the top 8, I’m sure our we mirror Pitt pretty evenly in that regard. Passing wise I’m not sure on the numbers, but I feel it’s the same as well. Kentucky hasn’t been sweep in a loss this season so I except them to take just one set. Which leaves more room for Mari to take the top blocker spot . With her and AA grooving how they are, I definitely should start to also trust the process as well lol

In fact, it looks like even Raina Terry per the stats has a better serve Idk im just confused If I'm reading the chart correctly, the ranking is by points/attempt above the D1 average. Both show a result of 0.10, so Halter may have the greater number when you take it to three decimal points. I'm assuming they get a +1 for an ace and a -1 for an error. It appears that good pass % is the other number that goes into the calculation. I'm going to assume that they assign a standard point value for whether the serve produces a good pass or bad pass. Halter has a greater differential between aces and errors, so in the calculation that gives her an advantage over Babcock. Babcock has a lower good pass % (forcing more bad passes) so that appears to eliminate almost all of the ace/error advantage for Halter. It definitely appears the high error rate by Babcock puts her very slightly behind Halter.

the highest ace per set getter in the country isn’t even on there bc of her error rate so he’s probably attributing error rate WAYYYY too much, considering what side out rates are anyways

He does not make them very easy to understand, and it seems VERY data driven, but to the point where its attributing certain things more (like you said), without looking at the bigger picture/contex Appreciate what they do, I just dont think its a very accurate way of telling whos better at what etc
