Devin, girl, get ready for the Sha'Dare McNeal role of 6ro primary passer OPP (minus the slides).

We are for sure losing two pins. Do we think JE is going to stick to tradition and redshirt Harvey?

Roster next year is S 1. Swindle 2. Carlson MB 3. Ames 4. Singletary 5. Bunton 6. Harvey Pins 7. Lauenstein 8. AVW 9. Spears 10. Miller 11. Helmers 12. Byrd 13. Devin 14. Tomkinson 15. Gaido L/DS 16. Halter 17. Krueger 18. Ramierez 19. Binney 20. Emerick When does the 18 player roster limitation come in? Even without that, I would expect us to lose 2-3 players into the portal this year? i believe binney is a setter Technically but IMO she's only going to play DS at Texas - once Carlson leaves we have Genevieve Harris coming in

do we really know if we will be in a 6-2 again next season? i get it both swindle & carlson will return but next year could be different...also with the roster limitations @ 20 next year @ least 2 players will be leaving the program possibly more (some players may leave to get playing time elsewhere) it's possible whit plays outside & auburn plays opp. next season (if we are in a 6-2 again) not trying to be mean but im not sure auburn will see the court at Texas

Would like to see one of two things next year:
5-1 L1: Lauenstein (DS Choboy😜) L2: Spears/AVW/Byrd (DS Krueger) M1: Ames M2: Singletary Opp: Kahahawai S: Swindle/Carlson L: Halter
Halter, Kahahawai, and one of the DSes are the primary passers
6-2 L1: Lauenstein L2: Spears/Byrd M1: Ames M2: Singletary O1: Kahahawai O2: AVW (DS Krueger) S1: Swindle S2: Carlson L: Halter
Libero goes in for outsides (Halter serves for Spears/Byrd), setters for middles, and Opps are 6 rotation like we did in 2013 with Neal and Victoria for a little bit.

I wonder if we lose Miller to the portal at the end of this season. She seems like a great teammate but I don’t see her having a tremendous amount of playing time in the upcoming years.

the fact that we have soo many options is kinda crazy Roster next year is S 1. Swindle 2. Carlson MB 3. Ames 4. Singletary 5. Bunton 6. Harvey Pins 7. Lauenstein 8. AVW 9. Spears 10. Miller 11. Helmers 12. Byrd 13. Devin 14. Tomkinson 15. Gaido L/DS 16. Halter 17. Krueger 18. Ramierez 19. Binney 20. Emerick When does the 18 player roster limitation come in? Even without that, I would expect us to lose 2-3 players into the portal this year? The timing in the proposed settlement is for next season (25-26 academic year). The settlement has now received preliminary approval from the judge, so it is still currently on track to receive final approval "in time" to be implemented then. Especially with the number of front row players on the roster, I would also expect at least two players in the portal.

Strictly a guess on my part, but my guess is that it would be dependent on whether she can graduate this year. Since this is her third year, I would be surprised if she transferred before she was able to graduate.

is Krueger that good that she will come in and skip over Emerick and Ramirez? yes (from what ive seen) edit: I’m pretty sure she was “1a” among liberos in the 2025 class for Nebraska, and if we know there’s one thing Nebraska can evaluate… lol

I wouldn't be surprised if Choboy decides to leave Nebraska, only because they'll have Mauch and then Lembach coming in, who's also apparently a stud.

Unfortunately that entire class got the short end of the stick, between injuries, COVID super-seniors and the incoming pipeline. It's possible we might lose all of them to the Portal over the next couple of years: Bunton Helmers Byrd Tomkinson
