Does anyone have a reasonable reason why tonight's match is at 8 PM Central instead of like 7 PM or 6:30 PM? Soccer regular season is over. There is no other sporting event happening for Texas. SECN is not airing any other LIVE sporting event in an earlier timeslot tonight. there's a swim/dive meet that's all day long (both men & women's teams ) on secn @ 5:30pm...it started in the morning Hmmmn. Not on my cable guide. The Paul Finebaum show just ended at 6 PM Central. No swimming airing right now. Regardless, strange that match was slated for 8 PM Central. |

It's possible that 8 PM is the SECN's time slot for Friday volleyball matches. Today, 6 PM is their football preview show (likely a regular in season show) and 7 PM is some type of ESPN documentary (no idea if this is a one-timer or a regular). |

That's not being televised by SECN, but instead being streamed by SECN+. But, yes it started at 5:30 PM. It's possible that 8 PM is the SECN's time slot for Friday volleyball matches. Good thing the match isn't being hosted by an SEC school in the Eastern time zone. |
