I’d say about zero percent at this point. Actually, I think we'll be visiting Stanford this year. Well, I hope so. Quite a bit of their schedule has come out so far. I wouldn’t mind playing Stanford into perpetuity, tbh.

Actually, I think we'll be visiting Stanford this year. Last couple games there have been fun…especially the two most recent ones. We still have quite a bit of ground to make up in the series. I feel like this year is going to be a bit more lopsided in our favor than it usually is. Take advantage while we can.

Did anyone read Bohls’ bit in the Statesman on Henley?
Only think better than getting the #1 prospect in the country is stealing her from Nebraska

Only think better than getting the #1 prospect in the country is stealing her from Nebraska I haven’t read the article, but anyone classifying this commit as stealing her from Nebraska is making a bit of a stretch, IMO. I do love the commitment though. The classes are really piling up into quite the future juggernaut.

Harvey, I had two different Nebraska fans DM me claiming insider knowledge that Harvey had committed, hadn't announced and that we were wasting our collective breath speculating on the TX recruiting thread... You best believe I gloated some when Harvey announced her choice

Can someone explain Erik Sullivan's role with the men's national team? I saw him on the VNL match vs. Iran today, and he's not listed as a coach but as "team leader". What does that mean?

She didn’t indicate in any way Nebraska was an inferior program. What I took from it is that it was a testament to Nebraska’s excellence and her positive interactions with Nebraska affiliated players on the national team that she was even considering it along with Texas. But calling it Texas stealing her away from Nebraska after what I heard in that interview feels like a gross exaggeration.

Courtesy call for Jaylen's mileage spent on her lol. There was never a doubt in her mind. Right. As one of the elite recruits in the class, Nebraska would be silly NOT to at least call her. If anything, the mere fact that she was even entertaining Nebraska in the first place says a lot more than the fact that she committed to Texas on the first day that either program is "legally" able to contact her.

That'd be a packed sports weekend in Austin.

Here's the bit of the article I'm talking about: 5. The rich get richer: Henley Anderson, a rising junior outside hitter at nearby Dripping Springs, announced Sunday that she will continue her volleyball career at UT. But first she had to break the bad news to Nebraska head coach John Cook, who spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to still convince her to be a Husker. A 6-foot-2 outside hitter, Anderson is considered to be a top prospect in the class of 2026. “The reality is she’s a Texas kid and always wanted to represent the state of Texas and the University of Texas,” her father, D Anderson, told me Tuesday. “Nebraska really pushed hard, and they had a lot to offer.” As a freshman and sophomore, Anderson was named the Central Texas player of the year by the American-Statesman. Jerritt Elliott is still crushing it. He’s doing so well; he makes Sark look like a piker. Can you say three-peat? Elliott also landed pledges from Genevieve Harris, a setter from North Carolina, and libero Emma Cugino out of Ohio in UT's 2026 recruiting class. Anderson and Harris will compete for a gold medal with Team USA's U-19 team in July. D Anderson said NIL money was discussed, but “coaches only say what it might look like. Cook’s point to Henley was, ‘You are the top player in the 2026 class, and you should be paid that way.’ But that doesn’t drive Henley.” … This past season, Anderson averaged 4.8 kills per set while also posting 395 digs, 60 aces and 51 blocks for a Dripping Springs team that reached the Class 6A regional finals a year after Anderson and the Tigers won a state championship. I got to cover her a little in person, and Anderson is definitely all that.
