Great bounce back win.
I always forget being in the Ferrel Center it’s like a prison with zero cell signal. It can take longer to get out of the parking lot than the length of the game.

Just got to watch. What a good win for the team! My favorite part was AMA calling a block a love story between Mari and Devin because wtf is that supposed to mean?

i just finished watching as well. anybody notice the odd body language of Whit after she got subbed out of the 6-2 and JE pulled her aside in the middle of set 3? i felt like after they had a talk, she didn't really celebrate much and played with her fingers like she was nervously overthinking. i even saw her whispering with Akana. i know i'm weird for recognizing it, but i read body language well and it jumped out to me

Devin's swing looks great and she puts a lot of heat on the ball, but she gets dug or block touched so muchIs it shot selection?? Clearly Devin has the power, but IMO there are two factors - 1. her step-close is comparatively slow and deliberate, it's much easier to read. Actually reminds me a lot of Molly, you could tell a mile away if she was going for cross-court or down the line; but 2. she lacks Molly's trickery. Her swings tend to be straight on with her approach (hence, readable) - you don't see much wrist-away, cut shots, cross-body. Molly was pretty good with her wrist action, which made her more effective. That cut shot kill in the Natty plays on my head in repeat. BTW I saw cameos of widdledad during the match

Maybe it's acting up a little?

I’m very impatient when it comes to development, I’m just not sure why Madi isn’t having us on her back while we figure everything out. She’s kinda turned into something that needs figured out. She will be fine I’m just not sure why this is happening

Not good enough for you? Big improvement from her most recent matches.

After the second set, one of the TV analysts asked Jerritt how they planned to use Akana as she had come in late that second set to serve for Skinner. He made it sound like the only option would be late in a set because otherwise they'd run out of subs. Is that accurate? Well in a 6-2, there’s 2 subs in the 4th rotation, and 2 subs after the 6th rotation when they’re back in rotation 1. And the Liberos/DS ‘s are subbing out the MB’s in the backrow. I’m not good at math but if Elliot is saying it, it’s true as there are only 15 subs per set. When the libero subs in and out, those aren't counted toward the limit.
