I'm saying HUGE because how monumental of a match it was last year. It still pretty important for us to win this match so yeah. I can see that. I guess the losing team would be the one who would have more motivation; but, Tennessee has so many new players that didn't even experience that emotional match. Just did a look at the Tennessee team (who played in the game) that lost in 5 last year to this year's roster to see who returned:
Elker - DS Granberry - MB Kerr - S
King - DS
Kubick* - OH
*On the Nebraska roster as a sub to stop the 11-0 run

Texas better be ready to go tomorrow. i expect attendance to be lower than usual Not sure about that. There's a FB page dedicated to Longhorn VB fans looking to sell/buy tickets within the fanbase. Many folks asking for tickets to the last two games because they have family members coming home for the holidays and looking for tickets to get them into the game with them. I went to Houston to pick up my son to bring home for Thanksgiving and I had folks who I've sold to directly texting me asking if I had a ticket to sell (I sold a single ticket the day before to someone who needed any ticket so they could get them into Gregory - and then they were going to "squeeze" them into the same row of bench seats they had).
It should be packed.
much better than my scenario

Ok so who else is nervous? Just me?
Today's agenda - Texas Sweep! - Stop Cajic, avoid Granberry - Many many many blocks! - Madi and middles .500+ - Reagan + Jenna .300+ - Jenna BIC - passing 2.3 - side out 70% - one million digs - everybody gets an ace

I'm looking at the SEC standings. Missouri got beat by MS State their last game. Crownover's gonna be fired up tonight to beat KY. I think there's a chance the Horns can grab a piece of the SEC Championship.

I see a lot of fans happy that their coaches (Skinner and KSC) let their seniors play on senior night. (And others talking crap about JC for not doing that. JE usually lets his reserves come in and play a little. This season has been different since we never really settled in. Do yall think he is going to let his seniors play a little/ should he?

It would be Soah who isn’t a normal starter, right? Maybe she gives one of Ames/Singletary a breather tonight.

This is really only a discussion about Franklin since the other four seniors are "starters".

Soah can’t be that far behind 😭 We just haven't played many blowout matches where we were in cruise control; part of that is the non-conference schedule didn't include but maybe one cupcake. While Soah is very experienced, if the younger backups at several positions weren't seeing the court, can't imagine she would as Bunton barely saw action this season.

Ames and Singletary need every rep they can get with Carlson setting and for their blocking assignments.

Senior night is Saturday against Ole Miss, and Soah's the only senior who isn't a normal starter. I think Ole Miss is a reasonable game for Soah to start over Ames. But Tennessee has too much potential to go off for Jerritt to not have the normal starters out there tonight.
