Can someone explain how Skylar Fields is playing the Automatic Qualifier out of the America East (UMBC) and the University of Texas-Austin is playing an SEC at-large team (Texas A&M)  Anytime Madden said something particularly shady about Nebraska this week to me, I marked a check and warned him there would be consequences: 1. Louisville rematch for Pitt in elite 8 2. Washington State for Pitt sweet 16 3. USC for Pitt in round of 32 4. USC first round cupcake to ensure they reach second round He brought this on himself. |

The SEC is so freakin' good at gaming the RPI year in and year out in every sport. 8 teams into the tourney is insane, that's 1/8 of the bracket. especially when it’s not unreasonable to say none make the Elite 8. Only 1 is seeded in the top 8 so being 0-1 wouldn't be an indictment in the least. |
