Just to close the loop on the Avery Jesewitz thought as well. She did comment on Taryn Kirsch's Instagram that she will "see you on the other side of the net". So the previous comment about her going to Rutgers is probably accurate.

WTH. I don’t think she would decommit from this. If someone were to decommit from a mistake it shows a lot about them and not being able to stand through adversity. I’m thinking positive thoughts. There are various reasons why players decommit, but it’s highly unlikely that a player would decommit over a post like this. We aren’t even certain Avery committed to Illinois. However, we know an OH recently committed to play at Illinois (which is exciting news). Let’s hope for the best and let the commit make an official announcement when she’s ready.
Also, let’s not fault someone for posting a link to a public site. If anyone is to blame, it’s someone in Illinois athletics.

Now that the roster is coming together, any thoughts on possible starting lineups? Will Burbage shift back to a MH position? Who starts at the OH with Terry? Will any freshmen crack the starting lineup? Tamas will finally have options at each position - looking forward to the new season.
Here's my early prediction (barring injuries):
OH: Terry, Hernandez
MH: Bohm, Burbage
OPP: DeBoer
S: Mosher
L: Barnes
DS: Martinez Mundo, Barry
