Thanks baytree for making the thread! For the opening match of the 2023 tourney, this should be a very competitive contest. The MAC champion is very capable of taking down a mid-tier P5 school (see Ball State over Michigan in 2021). Western Michigan is a good ball control team with an outstanding setter. Auburn will have the height and power advantage to counter. Go Broncos! I'm glad I picked W. Mich to win as an upstart!  |

Btw, WMU is the theater school of Michigan and is Very Gay and Very Progressive if you need another reason to love them.
Is Kalamazoo cool? I paused there briefly a few years ago and recall what looked like maybe a charming downtown.
