Hawaii hit .061 to Oregon's .266. The Ducks were led by Morgan Lewis' 14 kills hitting .667.
The Ducks outdid Hawaii in every phase of the game and once again the Hawaii serve receive couldn't hold on.
The Wahine floor defense went all out and held the Oregon hitters (sans Lewis and McGhee) down. Pukis is an incredible NCAA setter. I am excited to see how she fares moving forward in this tournament and beyond.
My best goes out to Gabby Gonzales! She continued to play hard and contribute to her teams win. Praying for a speedy recovery for the Sweet 16.
Go 'head Ducks!

Hoping Gabby can recover quickly, but man what is up with Mimi?
She has been so ineffective offensively and just looks lost out there sometimes. Everyone else seems to be mostly clicking but she just can't seem to get going. I'm honestly pretty surprised Ulmer hasn't went to his bench a little more often given her struggles, and that problem obviously might be compounded even further if Gabby can't go next week 🙁

This Wahine Team will be better next year with the recruits they have coming in, plus the returning players. Expecting big things from Caylen Alexander, Tali Hakas, and Stella Adeyemi, next year.

1) The BWC tournament was a great addition. It got us to the dance and it prepared us better for the dance. 2) Wahinefan is the literal worst. Ugh terrible human being

I will root for Oregon and Stanford next week. Still good season for Hawaii. I will miss Amber and Kendra 😭. Same. Will be rooting for all the PAC12 teams. Have always rooted for PAC12 teams after Hawai'i has gone out - lots of good "rivalries" with PAC12 teams with Hawai'i getting sent to the West coast in the post for so many seasons. Sad that they're dissolving but will still always root form them!

Lauhala Louie you rock sistah gurl.

Congrats Oregon.
The match MAY have been different in the first if that call was called
But that does not excuse the passing/bad play the rest of the match
