You don't know if limping/wrapping/being helped by teammates is because of injury? Those sets played during the season were all injury. Leao had an apparent core injury most of the season, replaced by Tejada (an OH btw). Casiano injured her lower leg two-thirds into the season and was replaced by Carr. The only lineup juggling not due to injury was rotating through liberos. Rosado took the jersey in toward end of season and has kept it through now. I don't know if, generally, the lineup juggling throughout the year is due to injury or otherwise. Got it. No worries. Thought your first sentence might have been a continuation of the feedback re: last night's situation. Cheers

I think this will be a moderately competitive sweep. Wisconsin is cruising lately, and when I saw Miami play Pitt a couple weeks ago they didn't look all that great. They won't be able to keep up with Wisconsin's size.

I watched Miami/UNI in person last night. You're right that their middle got injured. She had to leave the game and was taken to the locker room but came back and played a couple of more rotations towards the end of 4th. Visibly in pain and hobbling. She needed help walking off the court at the end of the game. Grace Lopez was quite impressive. I think she had 30 kills and hit .500. Miami serve receive wasn't that impressive to me. Their setter is good. If we serve tough and our block shows up, I think we win in 3. When she came out really limping they tried to massage it and get it feeling better and she went back in for a point or two and came right back out in obvious distress. Once they unwrapped the foot and ankle she couldnโt even walk to the other bench during the set changeover and needed 2 people to help her. Same happened after the match was over. With how high the tape went I wonder if sheโs dealing with a high ankle sprain. Hate seeing competitors hurting and missing time. Especially at this point in the season. FWIW: Leao had the kill on match point.

What time do doors open tonight? Usual is one hour prior to first serve. No reason to think tonight would be different. So, 6 PM.

Let me get my ๐ง ๐ rain dance out of the way. Miami, we all know you can. Great, so you're the reason it's now snowing... (It is, for reals)

Hey .. anyone know what happened to the required blue NCAA tournament floor? They didn't have it last night and don't have it tonight. ๐ค I thought the home team logo and stuff were considered "home court advantage"...?

He sold it today and claimed it was stolen [had to beat Photos and / or bballin to the punch]. Go Badgers

Badgers pregame
Sheffield Reasons behind balanced offense against JSU - challenged setters to get everyone a good feeling to start the tournament Wanted to make sure Franklin didn't get set the most, but passing... Will be trying to serve to zone 1 to force the passer into Lopez's approach. An example of setting up block with serve. Lopez is great - can get on service runs but is high error. Saw her a lot coming out of high school. They spend a lot of time preparing for her, but she didn't play much in the their first match. Had a loot of kills last night. Northern Iowa's approach to defending her was "interesting." Left her one on one a lot.
White Why did Miami win? Serving was great. Lopez exploited the block on the "hut." Have to serve well to get setter off the net. Will get a ton of sets. Heredia Colon is a left hand top spin server. She changed the pace and rhythm of her top spins against Northern Iowa. Lopez has a right hand hook.
