Not to be TOO shady, but ... Kentucky wasn't an Elite 8 team. Do they mean someone else? "points away from" I feel like Kentucky - Arkansas was the only match where the non-advancing team was "points away from" I feel like I'm misunderstanding something here, because Tennessee for sure was points away from the Elite 8. But that's so obvious that I feel like I'm missing something. Edit: I didn't read through the whole thread first. It was only pointed out 20 times before me.

If Texas has a chance they should 100% go get Averi. She is maybe the most gifted pure setter in the country, or weakness as a player lies elsewhere. Texas covers her other gaps really nicely (back row defense and huge blocks with other players). Swindle is a nice player but I could set O’Neal and Skinner and be effective. Her location is a problem and will hurt them in years to come, also getting to the final four is one thing. Winning is another, Carlson would help them win it all with this team. 3 of those big blockers are leaving texas after the season...swindle will continue to improve (she's also been injured) People love to rag on Texas fans about how they rag on their players, but in the case of some players, most of the ragging comes from someplace other than Texas fans.

two years at long beach, two at tennessee right? Would she have to sit out as this is her third school or no because it’s a grad transfer? Grad transfers get their own waiver. I don't know if it applies specifically in this case. I also haven't seen the NCAA actually make a volleyball player sit out a year, so until it happens the first time, I'm skeptical they're going to actually hold firm on it. They're not even doing the greatest of jobs in football and basketball so far, and that's where most of the abuse occurs.

I love how they used small towns as plot locations, like the Devil's Gate and the Illinois town where Lilith returns. It was so random and interesting. didnt ever expect a vt-supernatural crossover but here we are lol You let me know what we should be expecting with a Wolfgang post. One of the MANY things that makes him so iconic is how random he can be.

Swindle is the better setter or that it is close?

What would be considered a “pure setter?” Never heard that term used before so just curious.

She just made an impact with her setting alone Impure? Someone like Micah Hancock I guess. Her setting wasn’t bad by any means, she just made an impact in all other fascets of the game, which made her insane That’s how I understood it at least.

Gotcha. So “pure” meaning only used for setting, while others are more well rounded in the game.

Rutherford from UK is best player in portal. Was afraid this may happen being her covid year. Circumstances are always out of hands when it comes to this extra covid year. Wish her the best as a UK fan. She made a commitment to play at UK for the next four years and did that. Word around Lexington is that she is going play closer to home. Schools such as Baylor, Texas, Houston, BYU, A&M should be giving her a call asap..

She would do really well at texas, however I think bringing her in may not bode well for morale for the players still there I totally get wanting better players on your roster, I totally do. But texas is litterred with top ten talent, talent who does not want to sit
