She just needs to swing like she’s going over most blocks except maybe Wisconsin’s Out of system needs work, also not sure why she gets tentative at times. Just spam her on the bic and I’ll be happy lol Kipp needs that killer instinct and just go for broke at times! |

Stanford looked like the better team throughout the night. But their defense looked asleep for quite a bit of the match. Great effort by UH. I really like Rehr as a coach. Houston has potential, especially with their move to the Big 12 and how open that conference is going to be with Texas gone. I don't think they're going anywhere. Houston is losing 70% of their kills, and 2/3 of their serve receive. It'll be interesting to see how they refill. Would have really helped sell their trajectory to some portal players to at least get through next year as a new P5 team if they could have finished this one out over Stanford. This upcoming year is the end of the extra plyers generated from the COVID year. |

Glad Stanford won this and keeps the regional at Palo Alto.
I’d like to see Texas and Tennessee in a neutral court and we are going to have it!

I need Kipp to show some NPOY level play, and activate Plummer levels of beast mode lol You're asking too much. Plummer's vball IQ was significantly higher her senior year than Kipp's is now. That's not to say Kipp won't get there some day, but from an attack perspective Plummer played a lot more like Rubin does now. And that means read the block, use it, tool it, crafty tips when necessary, etc. Kipp is a pure vertical hitter and that's her sole mentality when she attacks. Wiping the block, hitting high hands, aren't her forte. She can be a successful tipper on high tight sets because she touches so high that she can tip vertically into the donut. |

I kind of felt like she was better at tooling the block last year. Like she would hit roll shots off the pin blocker often. She’s never been good at hitting high hands tho, if she does it’s more like luck than intentionally |

I haven't been able to watch Levinska and ASU this season. I am excited to see what it gives Please watch the BYU/ASU replay! Was a great match even tho Shields could've gone to her a ton more down the stretch of Sets 2 and 3. Just watched the replay. Levinska was nearly unstoppable on the attack and had a great night from the service line too. It's going to come down to execution versus ASU. Sloppy Stanford will not beat ASU. Elite Stanford can sweep 3-0. What is it going to be? |
