Will Penn State fans be able to get tickets to these regional matches or will Wisconsin monopolize all the tickets? The drive from Iowa might be worth it.

With attendance exploding and the popularity growing, when will the NCAA go to neutral sites and now gift-wrap Final Four opportunities. It is a big jump from great crowds in home sites to great crowds at neutral sites. Women's basketball (which has a healthy head start in popularity) just went to neutral sites for the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 last year, and they still have a very different format where two sites host eight teams each. That would be the recipe the NCAA would follow since you have a far better chance at packing a place if you have eight teams bring fans to two sites than if you have four and four.

My goodness, this regional is full of players who could be now - or will be - professional players. How many 22 and 23-year-olds on the four rosters? These are impressive and truly experienced teams. Badgers in home court is huge advantage. Huge.

Oregon crashing the B1G party!! Go Ducks! Literally, as of next season. One might say this is the first Big 10 Tournament.

Will Penn State fans be able to get tickets to these regional matches or will Wisconsin monopolize all the tickets? The drive from Iowa might be worth it. There will be 'friends and family' sections for all four teams - maybe 50 seats or so? - and there are sections designated for students from visiting schools on the seating chart (that turn into general admission sections). No idea how those ticket sales are handled or by who. But the vast majority of tickets will be (that is, have been) sold to UW season ticket holders. TOO MANY of those end up on StubHub and SeatGeek, etc. at somewhat inflated prices. Lastt year for this same round, Penn State had a healthy turnout of friends and family, most all of section P.

Each team gets a pass block of something like 200 seats. If you know someone affiliated with the team and can get on the pass list that is by far the easiest. All-session tix will go on sale Monday - can let you know exactly when - but you’ll wanna get on right away because sub-regional all-session tix sold out in like 3 minutes. Single session tix will go on sale later in the week. You will for sure be able to find seats on SeatGeek, and most prices will not be too outrageous. Tip: there’s a filter you can toggle to make it show you the price including fees, so you can more easily find tix that are actually within your budget. So yes, if you can get here, there will be a way you can get into the building.

TOO MANY of those end up on StubHub and SeatGeek, etc. at somewhat inflated prices. Hopefully anyone who ordered extra tickets and lost a lot of money from not selling them ends up returning their tickets immediately. Just before we hit the road to the Field House, I noticed a pair of Gold seats for $35. Section G, row 6. At least one ticket holder with god seats realized no one was paying crazy high prices.

Why would Wisconsin season-ticket holders get priority over fans from other schools. Isn’t this suppose to be somewhat neutral? Please keep us Big Ten brethren informed of the ticket process. I know there is a lot of excitement for this Penn State - Wisconsin rematch.

I know there is a lot of excitement for this Penn State - Wisconsin rematch. Because it’s a perk of hosting. All host schools were able to let their season ticket holders pre-order seats. I’m inferring from the results of that selection process at Wisconsin (where some season ticket holders who requested postseason seats in the preorder did not get them) that the hosts were also required to leave a certain number or percentage of seats available for sale to the general public. There will be seats available for you, and we’ll let you know as soon as we know.

Were Wisconsin fans rooting for a Kansas win or Penn State? Generally, if teams are of comparable level, you'd probably not want to face the team that beat you before. But wondering (Especially teams who are familiar with how Kansas plays) which matchup they would have preferred for the Badgers. I would happily have us play either team but I am excited to see what the Badgers can do against PSU at full strength with home court advantage. I suspect that the Badgers players would say the same thing - most importantly they want the opportunity to keep playing. But deep down I expect they want another crack at the Nittany Lions.
