If you need a total cupcake to thrash like okay UST thats fine (roll toms) but Chicago State? UND? Who even looked at that Green Bay weekend? Hoping our tbd is someone like Marquette, Utah State, maybe High Point, a competitive match in which we would still be favored. Not a ton to attract fans for the only home noncon action otherwise This. So dumb. And when I say so dumb, I mean the scheduling. Yes, they should win every single one of these, but they also could win against much better RPI opponents.

Asking for a friend, is Nebraska's pre-season schedule out yet?

Im not sure who they could target... maybe see if someone in the South Dakota tournament that weekend wants to come? (USD/Iowa St/UTEP/Montana St) (But that would be a lot)

So Nebraska gets Texas A&M-CC, The Citadel, and Montana State.
Is that a big difference?

So Nebraska gets Texas A&M-CC, The Citadel, and Montana State. Is that a big difference? The quality of schedule has different ramifications for teams like Nebraska and Minnesota, but if you mean am I similarly uninterested in Gophers vs Chicago State and UNL vs The Citadel, I mean, sure

Why wouldn’t MN be favored in the Marquette match? bc Marquette will be pretty good themselves? lol Western Michigan, Drake, UNI would be good fits, if available.

So Nebraska gets Texas A&M-CC, The Citadel, and Montana State. Is that a big difference? All of Nebraska's opponents had good records last year. TAMU-CC - 22-10 SMU - 26-7 The Citadel - 27-4 Montana St - 21-8 ASU 28-7 Wichita St - 21-8 St. Thomas - 7-20 North Dakota - 7-21 Green Bay - 16-16 Chicago St - 11-9 Those are 4 RPI killers

Not a ton to attract fans for the only home noncon action otherwise I’m so curious if we added a Tuesday(?!) St. Thomas match after already knowing we would be playing their fellow Summit League opponent North Dakota. Both teams finished with 7 wins and RPIs in the 290s. Maybe we were already locked into an agreement with the Tommies. Idk just seems… odd? But results and RPI can vary year to year. I sure am rooting for both of them to climb the Summit now!
