I’m not understanding why Wucherer is playing through her injury, especially in matches like these. Would be good to get Acevedo front row reps, plus she looks to be at about 60%.

Let the girl get healthy

Wucherer seems to be the one who desires to go back in but at some point trainer and coaches should step in and tell her no.

I was thinking the same They kept asking if she was ok during the game Why not let her heal as we can use her in the playoffs Can’t the girl speak up and say she needs a break or are they forcing her to be out there I know playing injured is not good for longevity of the athlete

I like that we had a full house but I hope we bring a lot more energy for our senior night

If anyone thinks that a coach is forcing Wucherer to be on the floor, you obviously haven't watched many games this year.
I think it's totally time to give Acevedo six rotations.

You're incorrectly conflating something being objective with something being fast. You think identifying a touch with slow-motion video is less objective than "if a ball clearly changes spin" in real time? Again, another enormous leap of an analogy at which I suspect most people reading this will simply shake their heads and think "nope, not the same." I am fully in support of making changes to the challenge system to make it faster. Having a time limit? Getting a max of one view per camera angle (and if it's not obvious need to move on)? Getting 1-2 challenges and you lose them regardless if right or wrong? I don't know the best answer, but I want it to go quicker. I say put a time limit on it, BUT if the call stands (is inconclusive), you don't lose your challenge. Does ESPN plan to use better challenge technology in Louisville? What about at the regional semifinals and finals? The players deserve it, the fans certainly deserve it and sport televised on a major sport network who wants to hold the eyeballs who are watching should certainly want it.

in progress The Minnesota team we saw on the court vs Iowa will not beat the Illini in Champaign. Do we play up and down to the quality of the opponent?
Bright spots: Hanson and Z serving pressure IS improving the big bad MN block scared Iowa pins into a slew of HEs. MN was actually outblocked in the match
Glaring bright sore spots: Does Grote have an arm injury? Her H% was poor and many shots lacked the wrist action that drives the ball into the floor IF YOU DON'T HAVE A KILL THEN STOP HITTING OVERPASSES OVER ON ONE What is so hard about using the same arm speed for tips as for hard shots except you slow it down just before you hit it?
More attention please: Acevedo (D ball & pipe) & Grote (D Ball). Hanson ought not be the only back row attacker Minatee & Grote: how about going line maybe once in a while Wookie: They're going to be on to you on the high hands and telegraphed tips. Attack their pins' right pinkie. Shaff: you almost got to 20% middle attack. Commit the few nice sets to Phoebe & Calissa to your muscle memory because I can't afford a full set of implants from grinding my teeth on undersets

WE do play down to our opponents. We do not have a take charge game pressure team. Our team is playing as good as it can. We are just not a top 16 team. We got in the dance last year because of Minnesota's volleyball reputation. If we are top 16 it will because we fill the pav. We all know how the ncaa loves money.

Maybe she wants to make sure she has enough good tape out there to attract attention from other coaches for this portal season?

We are just not a top 16 team. Correct. Not even sure if top 25. That same argument would have applied last year, and didn't work? Won't work this year either. Not game changing money, so suddenly the NCAA will stick to being proper. Unlikely with basketball.
