Wait so what will the courts be? Just the normal home gym court? No NCAA blue court? Correct. Well thank goodness Oregon didn't get a top 4 seed?

Man did the coach for Fresno go off on her team, personally I don’t think that’s very productive.

I don’t understand this team’s mentality. From all the press it seems like they have that fire and desire to win. Yet it honestly never translates on court. I can think of only two times and that was against WSU and Oregon at away games this season. But also right when I think we’re about to get reverse swept or even swept (at Louisville) the Card start dominating in a fifth set I wonder if it comes from Hambly. Laid back coach = laid back team? And, tbh, maybe this is the healthier approach. Care, but not so much that if you lose, you're devastated. Care, but not as much as the crazy fans do. Have balance. Which when you go to Stanford for free and also maybe come from La Jolla or Newport Beach or Brentwood, is understandable. Anyway, maybe in talking about Stanford's defense, we should also mention ASU's. Statistically, at least in conference (where the unbalanced schedules arguably gave ASU an easier one than Stanford), teams hit .205 to Stanford's .183. Stanford's defense may be sus, but ASU is susser. Honestly you’re on to something. I’m probably biased as a California native but if Stanford offered me, there’s not another volleyball program that can offer their combination of athletics+academics+location. Whether or not they get to play in front of big crowds and have that “energy”, won’t affect their future USNT or professional aspirations. And they obviously get the degree of a lifetime

I think it was early second set or third but they all just sat with the “yes mam” face. Not pretty.

On the NCAA Women's Volleyball Bracket page, they list the Stanford ASU match date as 12/9. Oops.

Ew I hate that Edit: I guess it's actually better to not have them be on sport court, but idk I really like the neutral courts, it's the NCAA vibe... The best ncaa vibe was when they had the tournament at one location, it was so nostalgic 😭

Can anyone deny that the very first year of host regionals (2016) was also the best in terms of atmosphere? The entire day of the Elite 8 was just absolutely electric

They’re the only state boring enough (or that cares enough) to bring a lot of people out within the state. And it’s in the middle of the U.S. so people won’t have to travel too far if they want to come watch their team

Well thank goodness Oregon didn't get a top 4 seed? ESPN would have sold the rights to televise that regional.
