Coaches: when the R2 calls a net violation, don’t send that same ref to the video monitor to waste one of your your challenges.
I’ll be offering my free challenge/TO clinic again this year at a tbd Tampa bar next weekend for all interested.

Are these announcers just looking at the spin or what, I wasn't looking at the tv so I can't say if it was a double or not, but they seem to disagree with each other about double calls

How could proper vball fans leave this match? Yeah I'm disappointed in Husker fans for leaving the stands so bare for this one But this is what has happens EVERY year Nebraska hosts. These hardcore fans don't actually WATCH volleyball, they watch their team, and that's fine, for sure, but lets call it like it is. The 1 seeds hosting is to maximizing regional attendance for the home team, and that is all. The actual attendance for a team not playing in front of a home crowd is no different than if the regionals were random. It also goes back to my gripe about the TV exposure. We aren't really GROWING the game, we are using this tournament to maximizing fan support for a handful of teams that already have a huge fan following. That is also "ok", but I just wish the powers that be just come out and say that rather than feeding us the BS line about growing the sport. |

Refs are being really loose with the double calls. It’s not my teams playing, so I’m fine with it. This is why we should just get rid of them entirely. GET RID OF THE REFS |
