This match is great, but all it does is benefit Nebraska, who will be fresh because they had no competition today, and get to play at home. It's almost like they went 28-1 on the season or something like that idk... Nebraska for sure deserved the #1 seed, I'm just saying that for how great this match is, I don't think that the next match v. Nebraska is going to be all that competitive. Nebraska is VERY good and these teams are using a lot of energy today (energy that Nebraska did not have the use).

Answer: have this round on the home court of all eight higher seeds. And add an extra week of play? And an extra set of travel arrangements?

would you want all tournament games to be on neutral sites then or maybe just all the regionals at neutral sites? I preferred the method we had for a LONG time. sub-regional host sites are based on the seeds, regionals and final four are pre-determined. You bid and they rotate. I fail to see how #1 seeds hosting has done anything to actually grow the sport beyond the handful of teams that stand to benefit from always being able to host. You say that like there wasn't a regional in Nebraska almost every year anyway. At least now Nebraska has to be Top 4 to make it happen.

Arkansas has had a hard time figuring out Kentucky. But they have been better against almost everyone else. Huskers need to be careful.

I think someone mentioned it earlier but that last Cartwright kill had her up agains two blockers while 44 was completely ignored and it made me laugh at how blatantly Kentucky was ignoring her

Arky fans doing the BS chant after that review is unhelpful. Just let your team reset

Answer: have this round on the home court of all eight higher seeds. oh that'll never happen. it would be very irresponsible from a fiduciary perspective. ncaa already struggling.

Because god forbid Nebraska play on ESPN U instead of ESPN 2. Those Cornhusker fans can't possibly be smart enough to flip just a few more channels. (rolls eyes) alternatively, ESPN2 comes with basically all sports packages, and I feel like you gotta be a "fan fan" to get ESPNU for a lot of middle america. it isn't to Nebraska's benefit to be on ESPN2, since their fans uh... attend matches. It's to the benefit of the sport / views. They want the larger crowd numbers to be broadcast on channels folks have. IDK, if you care about the sport, you should also care about viewership. I think this is the best way to expand the game ATM. It's not perfect, and I also hate the biases that are at the moment implicit, but c'est la vie. perfect can't be the enemy of good. wouldn't that then mean that they should put the competitive matches on ESPN 2? The "fans" of any given program will either be in attendance or find a way to watch. It's the casual "non fans" you have to worry about in terms of viewership. Not sure what the #1 seed demolishing a team is going to do for a non-fan casually watching. This Arkansas-Kentucky match is 10x better volleyball than the Nebraska/Georgia Tech match.
