Was this ever posted? I don't recall seeing it. So I'm just gonna post it. Lol. Thanks. I still need to learn how to post videos, news clips, and articles. Still haven’t. Lol Well for YouTube videos you just have to copy and paste the videos link into the post that you're creating and the video will pop up. As for IG posts and thing just copy the link via the share post and paste into the create post. As for news clips/articles I post via my phone so I haven't really got a clue on those. Some posters on here have access to their paid subscriptions for the Star-Advertiser and sometimes will copy and paste the entire article in a post.

I have access and remember trying to post articles a couple years ago, instead I think I just posted the link? Wolfgang tried to help me and I think there was a how-to thread, but I never got the complete gist of it. Lol

Granted I've been on here a long time. Usually as a reader instead of posting.

Then again, it’s not like the Star-Advertiser posts anything Wahine volleyball related anymore, anyway. Haha

We got used to Cindy Luis and Ann Miller covering Hawaii volleyball. We didn't realize that they were two gems and that very few other schools/communities had volleyball news in the local newspaper. And now that they no longer report on Hawaii volleyball, we miss them. We didn't appreciate and realize what and how much information (not rumors, not guesses, not wishes) they provided.

Cindy was the best college volleyball reporter in the nation, we were so glad to have her.

Cindy was the best college volleyball reporter in the nation, we were so glad to have her. I'll let her know that. She'll be happy to know that she hasn't been forgotten. I'll catch her when she's not paddling with her gang.

Cindy was the best college volleyball reporter in the nation, we were so glad to have her. Dennis Punzel in Madison has a great relationship with Sheffield and mostly just does volleyball these days, but I know what it is to be spoiled on volleyball reporting, and Luis was that first! Sadly, while volleyball has obviously become bigger in Madison, I heard it is just mostly him driving the coverage, sadly!

Darn I was hoping we’d have gotten Zaria Queen the 2025 from Moanaloa highschool, 6’1” opp she just committed to Stanford. Wondering if she’ll end up playing in the front row much there. Happy for her though! She must be very good to get to Stanford, though! I was hoping Wisconsin would finally end its 0 for Stanford streak in Milwaukee in 2024, but then Franklin got injured in international competition!

I need to look into ESPN+ soon. I unintentionally got an ESPN+ yearly subscription last year to watch the Wahine. I need an intentional one this year to watch the Wahine and the Warriors! I will miss Igiede and G Voss so much!

Recent video of Sylvester and Reid, playing for Coach Robyn, at the GJNC in Las Vegas. Not the best competition, and the setter/hitter connection not that crisp, but you can see the elevation that Mili gets, and her lateral movement and footwork look decent too. Would have liked to see Reid be a bit more aggressive in her attacks, but again, the setting wasn’t quite there.

Mili looked like all-world playing against those kids. They couldn't hit around or over her. She should definitely be at a higher level.
