I guess I am weird, but I want RAM as the Wahine coach, because the program continues to win.

I can also you tell you Fischer was asked for Hawaii Said no I heard he was kinda interested but the salary was nowhere near what it needed to be. I think he may have feigned some interests as a courtesy but it would of taken an absolute miracle for him to take it His wife loves where they live and pitt pays him ALOT of money. Even if Hawaii matched it I don’t think he would of left

Have people forgotten about Creighton, a Mid-Major Team, who is ranked in the Top 10, if not the Top 5. Since Creighton can be ranked that high, then the Wahine Team can be ranked that high with a decent Head Coach. Norah Sis - no.28 ranked recruit Kendra Wait - no.7 ranked recruit Ava Martin - no.47 ranked recruit Elise Goetzinger - no.27 ranked recruit Mandy Bilinovic - no. 77 ranked recruit Amongst many others. KBB is an amazing coach but let’s not act like she’s working with the same players that Robyn is working with.

The season isn't over, people. Bad loss, yes, but there's still matches to be played and I, for one, will continue to watch and support and get exasperated - all the things a fan does/goes through. And I hope the coaches give Caroline Blood and Kelly Ong more playing time. Oops, I meant Maddie Way.

Creighton can still recruit despite not being a P4 ... because they're entirely different schools with entirely different selling points, operating in entirely different regions of the country? Simplying saying that "if Creighton can do it, Hawaii should as well" is a really narrow-minded way of looking at the whole recruiting process. Majority of Creighton's starters (or entire roster, really) are from Nebraska/Kansas/Midwest. Trying to get these girls to come to Creighton would be a much easier sell than Hawaii. It is just a fact that getting highly-ranked recruits to Hawaii has been a difficult task for decades regardless of the coaching staff. Wasn't one of Shoji's literal selling points was that he could take the underrated recruits that he had and turn them into All-Americans? Saying that the lack of ranked recruits is entirely Robyn's fault is silly, and changing her out wouldn't make this any easier.

Despite the rumors, I am certain that Robyn was called by the AD prior to the closing deadline and asked to apply, that Robyn was not on Shoji’s list, and that no else was actually offered the job other than Robyn. I get the homer fascination with the Shoji brothers—they are accomplished players and good people—but they have very little personal experience coaching women’s volleyball, and despite the lineage, appointing either one as head coach is a huge stretch (and gamble). I would truly love Hawaii to go after Josh Walker, as their next Head Coach of the Wahine Team. Currently, I believe he is the Associate Head Coach of the Women's Program at TCU. Josh could have the Shoji brothers as his assistant coaches. The one good thing about having Josh Walker as the Head Coach is that Charlie Wade and Milan Zarkovic are right down the hall way if he has any questions. It would be good to have Kawika Shoji coaching the Setters and his brother coaching the back row players. Josh Walker can take care of the Middles and Outside Hitters. Ummmm no. Josh Walker is at Baylor

No, because she is a Wahine legend with no ties to the Midwest. I would not want Hambly either, who has not been great without Dunning's recruits, and once managed to miss the NCAA Tournament with Poulter and Bastianelli. Coaching at a very high level is not an easy thing.

Interesting observation that now it's seemingly okay to question the Hawaii coaching staff, but it wasn't when I did a couple months ago lol
On a serious note, when will the Hawaii AD say enough is enough and look to hire another coach?
Yes, there have been injuries in years past and players leaving the program, but that shouldn't be an excuse for this year's performance. Especially, when we've seen what they're capable of at their best (i.e. against LBSU).
