Our RPI is currently sitting at 50 after a loss to Riverside and a win against Davis. Makes me wonder what our RPI would be without the Riverside loss and maybe the UNLV or Irvine loss. I think we could be low 40s without these losses but obviously that is hindsight. Any way we could calculate this? Excited to see what Futures has The Wahine at this week. we would of been fouries without the UCR loss easily. Without the UCI and UNLV losses, we are easily high to mid thirties. we had an amazing non conference schedule that is really holding us up.

Every loss counts as the same in the RPI. (Just W/L Percentage) With a few less losses, using figstats and quick mental math, we'd be around 38-40 (conservatively) with around 3 less losses.

UNLV, UCI, UCSB and definitely UCR all bad losses. Hawaii being at No. 50 (Hawaii has been worst in the past, including last year's Igiede/Wagoner led team), is a testament to the non-conference schedule. Those early wins against SMU, San Diego, and Pepperdine have done a long way. This, and all the quality BWC wins against Cal Poly 2x, LBSU, and UC Davis. Cut those four losses in half and Hawaii is probably mid-30s. But that's this season for ya!

so Long Beach & UCSD play each other tomorrow... then both teams have to fly to Hawaii for Fri & Sat matches... I guess UH fans wish tomorrow would go to 5 with lots of overtime huh? LOL Is Meyer still out?

LOL Is Meyer still out? LBSU ran a 6-2 against UCSD today and won. TBH, seems like they are better running a 6-2. Hawaii has really struggled against the 6-2 teams where our weak blocking is exposed having to track three front row hitters constantly.

Very crucial Hawaii stay consistent going forward! We need these last 4 games!! I thinks it’s imperative we get one of the top seed bye’s! TBH , don’t know if I trust this team winning more than 2 straight.. in the BWTourney 🤷♂️

Excited for Senior night. Any chance it will be a sellout?

This Saturday will be Senior night for Tayli Ikenaga and Kate Lang. Probably not. It’s difficult to sell out the arena…..especially when we had so much ups and downs. If we were ranked, undefeated or playing bitter rival, maybe we could be close to a sellout but we end the season playing UCSD so that’s not a team will fill the seats.

Is Kahea Moriwaki the only player to sign a NLI to play for the Wahine Team next season? If that is the case, the Wahine Team is in a very sad state of affair. Guessing Robyn truly does not care much about the Wahine Volleyball Program.
