I’m almost positive that UH will be going after transfers. We had a large freshman class last season and we don’t need another big freshman class. We already have the players to replace our two departing seniors. Andrianna for Kate and Victoria for Tayli. We need to bring experience to push the starters and to sub in if a starter struggles. I feel like RAM has a lot of loyalty to Jackie, they even coach together. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jackie starts as our setter next season. The past few matches, Jackie came in for Kate. Really wishing Adrianna hadn't burned her redshirt.

Really wishing Adrianna hadn't burned her redshirt. I wish the same thing, didn’t really do her any favors as her coming in didn’t make really an impact and the only thing I saw that was impressive right now was her serve.

Jacky cannot play front row so Robyn is going to have to run a 6-2 or a 5-2. If Robyn is not liking that offense, then she will have to make a decision and start Jacky and live with her lack of size or go to a more physical and better all around player in Arquette.
We also need another OPP to play in a 6-2 and as of right now, we don’t have that player. Maybe Maddie can fill that role next season or maybe even Monahan but right now, not a lot of good options for a 6-2.

Hoping Viara and maybe other Bulgarian girls are considering Hawaii in 2025 or 2026. If not then Hawaii will desperately need some impact transfers Who is VIara? Rado's sister. She's considering college in the US, is a six rotation stud, and won gold with Bulgaria U18. Bulgaria defeated a tall Italian U18 team. If not Viara then maybe her Bulgarian team mates or the Italian U18 girls Not sure if Viara is interested in Hawaii but the connection is there.

This should lock up Alexander as Big West POY right? Because if she doesn't get it... I am going to riot The next statistical best player is Tommi Stockham and she's not in the same league as Caylen's stats this year (and they play the same position so no chance) You could make the argument that Kate Lang is Alexander's next biggest competition, and Kate's stats are good but certainly not All-American level.

Kate might get it just because she's been robbed so many times and she's a senior. Historically, Hawaii has been granted a POY nod if they win the conference.

W/L Records of Hawaii's non-conference opponents (as of 11/11/24): SMU | 19-6 (9-3, ACC) | 2-0, def Duke, North Carolina | San Diego | 14-8 (9-3, WCC) | 1-0, def Pepperdine | Pepperdine * | 12-10* (9-3, WCC) | 0-2, lost to LMU, San Diego | Texas St * | 17-8* (11-3, Sun Belt) | 2-0, def Coastal Carolina (2x) | Oregon St | 8-14 (6-5, WCC) | 1-1, lost to Santa Clara, def San Francisco | UNLV | 12-13 (5-9, MWC) | 2-0, def San Jose St, Fresno St | Texas | 13-6 (8-3, SEC) | 1-0, def Mississippi St | Baylor | 17-6 (9-3, Big 12) | 2-0, def Texas Tech, UCF | Total W/L: | 141-89 | Win % of Non-Conf Opponents: 60.38% |
Hawaii (Record): 16-8 (10-4, BW) Hawaii (Win %): 66.67% *Hawaii played these teams 2x during the non-conference. **See prior RPI info: 10/28/24, 11/4/24. Hawaii going 1-1 last week (defeating UCD, but losing to UCR), of course, hurt their win percentage. It went from 68.18% top 66.67%, which would account for the drop in a few places in the RPI. This despite, the non-conference opponents doing their part to help boost Hawaii's RPI. The non-conference opponents' win percentage increased slightly from 60.38% last week, to 61.30% this week.

Our RPI is currently sitting at 50 after a loss to Riverside and a win against Davis. Makes me wonder what our RPI would be without the Riverside loss and maybe the UNLV or Irvine loss. I think we could be low 40s without these losses but obviously that is hindsight. Any way we could calculate this? Excited to see what Futures has The Wahine at this week.
