Thank you for posting! I watched most of the match and it didn't help me get any more excited about Malinah. She is athletic but she sure is giving Waianae District Park out there as her game has no sophistication. I thought Chalei was decent but she will need to upgrade her first contact. Suli Davis was by far the best player on the floor! Ditto, Malinah didn't impress me at the pins. She was actually better at middle. Chalei definitely needs to work on her floor game and blocking. Suli's team was targeting Chalei on serve. Suli was named the MVP of the championship match, wish Hawaii could've gotten her Suli has a gorgeous swing and even though she was the best player in my eyes, I wasn't gagged. I believe Chalei will continue to improve as she has the foundation. I love her approach, swing and how she stays upright when she hits and uses her body. Robyn will prove to have a magic wand if she gets Malinah to get a step close at the pins because her footwork was hurt. The sets were bad but they were plenty high enough for both Chalei and Malinah to prepare and adjust better.

Does Paula G have a Covid year? Or is she after the cutoff?

I’m kinda glad Mili hooked up with Na Keiki Mauloa. This organization is run by Eleu Choy’s mom and dad. Mili Both Choy kids were/are D1 level players so Mili will get good training there.
The Choys and Robyn are also fairly close. . Barney Choy(Eleu’s dad) has been helping Robyn with her summer camps for years.
I think Mili will start as a freshman.

My friend’s niece goes to Mauloa clinics and said girls like Amber, Kate and Riley help run them so hopefully Mili is getting to work with future teammates along with Robyn.

I’m excited for Mili and also think she will start, but tbh I also want Maddie to start so idk where that leaves Bamis. Maybe Maddie can move to opposite idk

I’m pretty sure she did but nonetheless it’s cool she’s coaching Mili before she gets to UH lol Leyva is now in Hawaii also
