You knew there’s a common denominator in all of these Hawaii and non-Hawaii drama. That’s the cancer. ive been told since i first joined that it was fan of hawaiian female? lol trust, in season it’s definitely still wahinefan. The others are just mad because they obsessed over sh*t talking players and making personal slights against them and I have ZERO issues calling them out and reading them for filth. I’m the drama yet other can’t stop trying to @ me over and over popping off at the mouth seeking attention. lol it’s the off season, this is just how it is sometimes. I promise that the only “enemies” I have on this site are some of the crappiest posters you’ll see in the things they say.

Now we know of one team heading to the islands next season That’s a very generous Athletic Department to have them going to the islands again.

Also, we will not be seeing the same conference tournaments we have in the past for quite some time. with the new conference allignments, ADS from these new super conferences are very less likely to want to send their teams here
We wont really see the old pac 12 teams, b1g teams or SEC teams for a little bit
Same with ACC
Big 12 maybe
the landscape is changing

The travel increases or the number of teams they play now causing less games for their allotted amount?

It’s hard on the athletes etc. I’ve talked to multiple people close to college athletics and they all think Hawaii tournaments won’t look the same. Key word think but I trust them

Doesnt hawaii pay for travel? I'm guessing yes. Back when I interned for my school's Athletic Department (a looooooong time ago) they were considering a Hawaii trip in another sport. Hawaii was offering a cash stipend or flight + a big hotel discount/package. Either option would have almost covered the trip but not all the way. (Plus you're going to Hawaii, you're going to want to reward the whole team plus staff you might normally leave behind) If you notice, a lot of the pre-season tournament sponsors are airlines/hotel chains--I'm guessing they assisting with visiting teams' travel.

Key word think but I trust them I’m hoping it’ll influence the program to incur some bigger names out to the islands that can more than afford it and thrive on the travel. I mean there is a huge vacancy for any PAC12 tournament/challenge that was previously hosted. I think we should continue to keep upping the tier of B1G, SEC, ACC teams that are invited out to Hawaii

A 5 hour trip across the ocean may not sound so great. We will see how it goes.
