BVS was one of my favorite BW players. Loved her IQ and athletic ability both indoor and on the beach.

Happy for Brooke but isn’t there any European league willing to sign her? Mau went pro in the Philippines as well but I have not heard from her since.

Too short, I'm sure she could make a team as a libero, but pin hitters get paid more. I'm a little surprised she didn't try to get on a PVL team though. I think she could have made the roster on more than one team. I hope she goes back to beach after the Olympics if she can secure a good partner.

I really doubt that with Danielsons vert the problem was her being too short. She wasn’t 5’4”…

I really doubt that with Danielsons bricks the problem was her being too short. She wasn’t 5’4”… Right, but her best offers are gonna come from countries where her height mattered less (like Japan). In any case it sounds like she didn't enjoy pro ball that much.

I would have loved to see her play more. She’s a huge reason as to why I’m such a big fan of the program.

I don’t think UH play many series with “mid/low major teams” teams. UH usually schedule 2 match series with schools like USC or schools of that caliber. I’m going to guess, Texas State will play in a tournament. Maybe not the Outrigger again since UH doesn’t normally bring the same teams in so soon for tournaments (except for UCLA). Texas State was here just 2 years ago. Texas State might be in the Hawaiian Arline Classic or another sponsor tournament. I think Robyn and UH appreciate Texas State having so much fun and appreciating everything Hawaii have to offer. Bringing them back is good advertisement for Hawaii. Hawaii Visitors Bureau would be proud of how Texas State sold Hawaii. Go Bobcats. ;-)
