So, so much false modesty so far: "Well, I hope my team can give the other team a game. We got lucky last night."
How about some brutal honesty modesty?
Texas' setter has a hurt foot/leg. She can't jump set since. She hasn't back set since. And her blocking is down. And she's a freshman. Texas as an OH2 that doesn't get pulled when she's doing bad. EVER.
My prediction for my Horns at the 1/4 mark of the season: Elite Eight team, but doesn't make it into the Final Four.
My predictions before tournament started: A&M - 4 set win
SMU - 3 set win
Tennessee - 5 set win
Stanford - 4 set loss
Okay stanfordvb you're a frienemy of Texas. Whatcha go?
I’m unconvinced the leg/foot thing is the reason for the absence of the backset. It wasn’t exactly occurring before then, either. I believe in Christmas miracles. There have been bigger upsets than this one if it occurs. Otherwise it’s been a great season regardless. |

I'm going to have a huge breakfast and do laundry. where should I go for brunch here in Palo Alto? Preferably to include many many mimosas. Also heard some guy call it PA, but he was ordering casamigos so I didn’t trust his judgment enough to also say it. Is PA a thing? Sweet Maple, Son and Garden, Wildseed, Joanie’s Cafe! Not sure about mimosas but i’m pretty sure they all have |

Don’t even completely approve of it. But it’s good for the growth of the sport. There may be gambling odds for all the matches and I just wasn’t aware of it. Someone start a podcast! I don’t think normally so during regular season at least not on Bovada where got these odds. They had 5/8 from Sweet 16 round and all 4 for this round. |

Texas is going to come out playing with a HUGE chip on our shoulders. It’s giving 2013 season parallels, up and down season, and then totally took it to KRob and the Huskers to make the final four again.

Honestly after reevaluation I think this will be very very competitive. Madi Skinner has the potential to turn any deficit around OOS or in.
