Ok Huskers and Panthers - I'm coming up with a drinking game for both matches. Any suggestions for this match??? I'm hoping to keep it more about the broadcast/environment and not dog on specific players (coaches are different hehe). Some obvious ones I have already: - Any mention of Nebraska's youth - John Cook looking like a statue with a frown - Pointing out Husker fans traveling well - Pitt 3 final fours in a row - Mention of Pitt reverse sweeping of Louisville (especially if they were to find themselves down 0-2) - Explaining basic rules (libero, going to 25, win by two, etc.) Attendance records in the sport, likely be the lead in tonight, the 93,003 stadium match. How good Nebraska fans travel/fan knowledge/Nebraska fans in general if you just want to drink a lot. |

I would assume they would root for Wisconsin out of Big Ten Loyalty and the opportunity to play the tie breaker match for all the marbles. |

I got to sit down with a non-Husker coach that most Husker fans are extremely familiar with to review film of the final four teams and talk about potential match-ups, game plans, and available tactical adjustments for each team depending on opponent. This coach believes Nebraska/Pitt is a 50/50 match-up and didn't have a strong opinion on who would win. They also said that due to match-ups and tendencies, that if Wisconsin does beat Texas, that they believe Pitt is more likely to beat Wisconsin than Nebraska. This coach even said that they would slightly favor Pitt over Wisconsin if that matchup materializes. Anyway, that's one respected coach's opinion, but I think all four teams are good enough to win it. If one team just plays out of their minds for two matches, that's all it takes, and each team is capable of doing exactly that.

I liked the long pause between the question and answer. You almost could see the wheels turning in Fisher's head like, "How can I answer this in a way that reveals nothing about our scouting, strategy, or possible vulnerabilities?" Rachel and Chiamaka seemed amused by his response : )
Personally I think he was thinking: What kind of dumb A question is this? Then he paused, counted to 10, nixed saying what he really wanted to, and gave a generic answer. Been a lot more interesting if he had not counted to 10 and gave an honest answer, IMO. That was a dumb question asked to get him to react, IMO. He did not. Good job on his part. My overall impression: Pitt is dialed in.
I revisited the video and I think the funniest aspect of it was Fairbanks's facial expressions both when it was asked and then during the long pause after Fisher finished answering it : )
