I got to sit down with a non-Husker coach that most Husker fans are extremely familiar with to review film of the final four teams and talk about potential match-ups, game plans, and available tactical adjustments for each team depending on opponent. This coach believes Nebraska/Pitt is a 50/50 match-up and didn't have a strong opinion on who would win. They also said that due to match-ups and tendencies, that if Wisconsin does beat Texas, that they believe Pitt is more likely to beat Wisconsin than Nebraska. This coach even said that they would slightly favor Pitt over Wisconsin if that matchup materializes. Anyway, that's one respected coach's opinion, but I think all four teams are good enough to win it. If one team just plays out of their minds for two matches, that's all it takes, and each team is capable of doing exactly that. It really does feel that way - thanks for sharing!

I would assume they would root for Wisconsin out of Big Ten Loyalty and the opportunity to play the tie breaker match for all the marbles. Ehh the only thing that makes me happy is one of them have to lose lol. But some of my favorite players to watch play for both teams, so I will enjoy and cheer for a high level match!

Attendance records in the sport, likely be the lead in tonight, the 93,003 stadium match. How good Nebraska fans travel/fan knowledge/Nebraska fans in general if you just want to drink a lot. You forgot the most important one! that the libero wears a different colored jersey I think that falls under basic volleyball rules.

That’s exactly how I feel, lol Agreed. However, I watched all the press conferences and I have to say that Kelly Sheffield was really humble and was the most complimentary of the other teams / players of any of the coaches. For what it’s worth I thought Fisher was the least gracious. I even thought Elliott wasn’t too bad…I guess I started the drinking game early!

Fisher always comes off as a guy with a chip on his shoulder or has the personality of someone who feels they're neglected or disrespected. Not sure why? Regardless of his general personality, take it or leave it, I think almost every college volleyball fan respects his coaching and the Pitt program. Maybe it's just a way he keeps himself motivated, I don't know.

It was a very stark contrast between what Merritt said about him and what he said about Merritt. What did he say about merit? basically just said she's more consistent now and left it at that said it would be fun to see who between Babcock and Beason would perform better it was...something

I could see him taking the underdog role to heart I was curious if he would run with the underdog mentality and use the classic no one respects us, thinks we should be here, etc. Or if he would do the opposite and go with nobody has been here 3 years in a row, we have the NFOY, stats are just as good as anyone else if not better, etc. Probably a combo of both?
