Fisher always comes off as a guy with a chip on his shoulder or has the personality of someone who feels they're neglected or disrespected. Not sure why? Regardless of his general personality, take it or leave it, I think almost every college volleyball fan respects his coaching and the Pitt program. Maybe it's just a way he keeps himself motivated, I don't know. It was a very stark contrast between what Merritt said about him and what he said about Merritt. I'm not a Coach Fisher or Pitt fan (not anti either), but I thought several questions were worded in a manner disrespectful of the Pitt program, such as asking him what makes Beason such a great player. |

Bless you. Hmmm. It isn't as bad as I thought - definitely a big contrast between what Beason said though(she was so kind about it). That is an odd comment about who performs better and how he said it is interesting. But at the same time everything he is doing, including his press conferences is for the benefit of his team. So if he thinks that's what's best for his team then so be it! |

I agree and disagree with you. I think for sure Pitt isn't getting the same level of respect as the other 3. But it's very common for the media to ask about the strengths of the other team. |

Cook said Krause could be available in "spot duty" today. Not ready for full match. Please Texas Ally come today! I would love to see Krause come in to serve instead of Kennedi… I think she has a better serve and gives her a chance to play in the final 4 after a heartbreaking season. |

Was that not disrespectful to John sitting right there? No, it wasn’t. Just weird for a coach not to give a player (20 year old woman) flowers for an exceptional season. |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who kind of side-eyed Fisher's answer about Merritt (She hits more BICS and is more consistent (at Nebraska) We will see who is better in their roles Olivia or Merritt) . Merritt has great things to say about Coach Fisher (I Loved playing for Coach Dan, he pushed us and we clicked) and Fairbanks (funny, great person and player)

Watching that press conference with Cook, Lexi and Merritt, Dam Lexi is confident and I'm wondering if she's too confident. She said we had a great practice, we're ready, and it was the best practice that the coach has ever seen. So, not sure how to take that. Should you not have a smidgen of "Pitts a great team and we're going to have to dig deep? or something along those lines.
Am the only Husker that is norvous about this game?
