I agree it's much ado about nothing, the game tonight is what its about, but several are criticizing his response. A person with better speaking skills would have said that is a question for the NE coaches and left it there. But he is paid to coach vb, not answer loaded questions from reporters fishing for controversy. You think the reporter asked a loaded question and was looking for controversy? He is looking for a commonality, story line. I think it’s lame but it isn’t in any way controversial. Dan isn’t someone who is going to gush about a player or program, I think he wants the respect that the top teams get, and isn’t missing any rings. I think that’s fine, and I think that could change down the line. Reporters, especially sports reporters, seek controversy: it sells ... |

I'd love for this to have been the final but at least this way we know one of them will make it. I root for Pitt but I like a lot of the Huskers. If Nebraska prevails I'll want for them to win it all over Wisconsin or Texas.
