This’ll be a very fun match, but Wisconsin should prevail. Stanford’s biggest weakness has been their defense (their middles are slow to block and their backcourt outside of Oglivie just wasn’t it). Wisconsin’s defense is on another level right now and they should be able to reign in the Longhorns in 4

So its the Texas Transfers vs the Wisconsin Wanderers? I'm taking the Wanderers in 4. the debate of in-conference transfers or out-of-conference transfers gets settled on Dec 14, and I’m afraid the wrong side of that debate will come out of this one on top. |

I'm taking the Wanderers in 4. the debate of in-conference transfers or out-of-conference transfers gets settled on Dec 14, and I’m afraid the wrong side of that debate will come out of this one on top. This is a match made in heaven for all the crazies who can't stop screaming "poaching", "cheating", "stealing" etc., ad nauseam. I'm surprised they're not here already. They must be sleeping in after polluting The Badgers / Ducks match thread last night.

Ahhhh so basically who do I dislike less if Nebraska gets by Pitt, Nebraska fans have a dilemma: do they root for the conference colleagues (default choice), or being more calculating, root for the team they think Nebraska could more likely beat (which is not the Badgers)? |

There is play from that match where Carlini saved a ball with one hand while diving and set it up perfect to her outside. Left me in awe. |

I suspect Stanford underestimated the Longhorns, so I'm fine with all those favoring the Badgers. Wisconsin doesn't underestimate anybody. Not even Rutgers or Maryland. They're not going to underestimate Texas. |
