Honestly, I feel like this logo is less terrible than Austin or Madison. At least it's identifiable as SOMETHING (even if it's AZ instead of ATL). But the one for Austin and Madison are just kind of... nothing? Whoever is handling branding for these teams is trying way too hard to be unique and really missed the mark.

Because of location, yes. But I thought Atlanta made the most sense for the league. They needed another solid pin and this was right landing spot. Edit: Maybe Houston could have made sense for that same reason though too? |
