Without knowing which school is dealing with injury and such, I hope they recover and be healthy soon. I hope that they don’t have to cancel the MN match next Saturday.
Sounds like it's within Illinois- here's the Marquette tweet from today:
Thanks! I just saw Tamas’s post too.

Saturday's match with Minnesota will be their first big match up of the spring season (sorry Green Bay). Unfortunate that Illinois had to cancel their game as it would have given Marquette a better indication of where they're at.

Someone on another thread asked me how Marquette looked in their match against the Gophers and who I thought their starting line-up will be. Thought I'd also share here
Marquette looked okay. They didn't capitalize on mistakes (at least three gimme overpasses that they hit out), and their blocking looked atrocious to me. They [seem to] struggle with bigger teams. On the bright side--- Natalie Ring OH had a heavy swing and will get them some points if she can keep her topspin serve in the court and get a little movement on it. Yadhi Anchante is setting and looking more like she did two years ago. I don't know who the Libero will be, starting the season.
As for their starting line-up; depends on if they go 5-1 or 6-2. Hitters will be Hamilton, Reitsma, and I think Ring gets in there somewhere. Setters will be same as last year, and the middles are pretty established with Bray and Murray. Libero? Only Theis knows but right now I think Molly Berezowitz has the inside track.
As the only natural RS, Ifill might also be in the mix. It was neat to see old South Suburban rivals and club teammates Hanson and Ifill mix it up again. A few of the Wisconsin born Marquette players also had ties to Wucherer so that was fun too.
The Golden Eagles also ran some drills and scrimmaged with D2 team St. Cloud State earlier in the day. They looked good against a very competitive squad that could do well playing in some D1 conferences and went 2-0 in scrimmage play.

I heard that there was only a one hour break between games for Marquette, with that being said, it's very impressive that they were competitive enough. Kind of reminded me of club days a little.

I heard that Marquette took all three sets from both Northwestern and Northern Illinois University.

Marquette has a late October non-con vs Princeton on 10/26 per Princeton release Interesting that they would have a non-con game so late in the season. I wonder if it will be paired with playing Seton Hall.

Marquette WKU 9/13 per WKU schedule release Sure would be nice to find these things on the Marquette site. In my experience with schedule questions, when other teams have released, it's usually a matter of a sign off from above somewhere, the IT team getting it up to the site, etc. The coaches (and probably the players) know the schedule already, it's just not public for whatever reason. I have found that after half the conference releases their full schedule, an email or two, may help speed up this process. Only UConn and Nova as of yesterday had released their schedule. And still less than 20% of all D1 programs too. It's early, Marquette isn't feeling any pressure to release soon, and while I won't email them at this point, nothing is stopping you. Especially if they've started asking for season ticket renewals, one wants to know the schedule, correct?
