Marquette faces St. John's Friday in one of the many "make or break" games they'll have this season. Hoping for a good outcome. Hopefully Marquette takes St John's to five sets and exhausts them lol. Hopefully all the Marquette players are healthy and ready to go. Get this done in three and get the heck out of Queens! |

Thought I was going to have to endure another loss by Marquette in Queens along with one of the worst Flo Sports announcers, but they managed to shake off a sluggish start.
Hopefully they're ready to go from the start against Villanova tomorrow.

Marquette resume has some interesting aspects. Of course not doing well vs top 25 except Dayton, but being the only team to beat Dayton. Not even playing anyone in top 26 to 50 but having nine wins and no losses top 51 to 100. Then all wins against the rest except one bad loss to Western MI.

Not even playing anyone in top 26 to 50 but having nine wins and no losses top 51 to 100. Then all wins against the rest except one bad loss to Western MI. Actually, western Michigan has won three in a row so they are now in the 90s in RPI, so Marquette probably avoiding the 100+ loss. |
