Player comparisons each position (all these players are amazing) Batenhorst > Wenaas I think this is Batenhorst Wenaas, depending on which Batenhorst and which Wenaas shows up to the match. Wenaas’s stats from last night were not good, but they were fantastic on the only set we truly needed her. With 6 kills she was a difference maker in an extremely tight set 1. So it may not even be who shows up for the match as much as who shows up in critical spots. Both teams have shown they can win against big time opponents without stellar contributions from their OH2.

I am hoping for a great match with lots of drama and O’Neal and Allick going at it. Skinner will be the best OH on the court and Reilly could set circles around Swindle, despite injury she has had a great postseason. Halter elevated her game against Wisconsin will be interesting to see if that can continue. Rodriguez played very well against Pitt not sure why they served her The fabulous freshmen vs the defending champs. If I was wagering money Nebraska is the safe and reliable pick not who I want but what my head says. I would like to see Skinner go off, she is simply playing out of her mind.
I am predicting Nebraska in 4 but Texas fans the last two rounds I had the Longhorns losing so I would be neither surprised or upset. Texas is playing their best volleyball at the best time.

This might be elliotts best coaching year for Texas yet. They've really improved. Swindle finally connecting with these hitters. Texas has a nice back court
Nebraska so smooth and needs to remain in a clean offense. If nebraska wins serve pass, they will be tough to beat. They're pretty balanced and playing their best ball right now too.
I just hope both teams show up.

I just know for a fact, in 3, 2, 1: You don’t know my relationship with those coaches. They could, and will, pick ME out of a lineup. Lmao. Right on cue 🤣 omg literally. You can set a clock to it.

I’m glad Texas gets to be the underdog in this match. It seems to be energy this team is thriving off of—and pretty rare for the program

Interesting. And during the season, Wenaas actually is less error prone than Batenhorst. Wenaas has around 13% error rate on all swings compared to Batenhorst 15% rate.

Also, unless I’m mistaken, Jenna is 3 and 1 against Nebraska
