With Swindles foot they are waiving her off more since the chance of getting a better set are higher than her trying chase it down. Thank you! That makes sense. I didn't know about the injury till later in the semis game, which is why I found the waving off odd. She definitely seemed to be mobile and got to the balls quickly! The high quality passes definitely helped. I understand at this point they are trying to keep her from aggravating the injury so they want her to minimize the number of jumps and straining to reach balls. I understand that she also wears a boot off the court most of the time. |

My hope for Sunday isn't this team or that team winning. What I hope is that that version of Texas shows up, and we get to see how Nebraska handles it. That is something I'd like to see. No idea who wins if that happens, but it'd be entertaining as hell. iawtp The rubber match with Wisconsin would have been appealing, but after the beat down last night the notion lost some appeal. In any case, really looking forward to an epic battle. Nice too that slxpress got his wish too, even unlikely as it seemed early in the year. |
