Since the typical fan cliches are starting to be posted, I'm waiting for someone to post that one of the teams "wants" it more. i think Texas just wants the trinity to be completed Babcock FOY loses Franklin POY loses Cook COY...

The general volleyball fanboy in me wants a 5 set thriller worthy of a national championship caliber match, but the Nebraska fan in me doesn’t want the heart attack 😭😂

Texas say they are the underdogs but Nebraska has a team full of freshman that have been trying to prove themselves all season. In my opinion pressure should be on Texas they won last year and have seniors. I myself have had doubts about this Nebraska team throughout the season and they continue to shock me. Texas are the underdogs in popular opinion: coaching, lesser defense, offense-only, not a team-just individual standouts, etc. Both teams are very good and riding high right now. This will be an awesome finals! I think Texas prevails. But when Texas wins, “well, they’re a senior and super-senior laden team”. If Nebraska wins, “look how great our freshman team played (well, other than Rodriguez, Beason, Allick, and Batenhorst, plus Krause, if she were able to play.)😄😄😄. Just looking forward to a high-octane Finals.

More than anything, I'm really hopping for a well played, entertaining match where both teams are duking it out at their best. This is a big opportunity for our sport to shine on the national stage.

The 1st and 3rd sets weren’t blowouts, but the whole thing had a feeling of inevitability about it, and the sweep itself was dominating, even if each individual set was not. I’ll tell you what. DBK wasn’t talking about how exciting and competitive that match was in the post match conference. Anyway, the main point is I didn’t care about it being a showcase for volleyball. I want the win.
