I’m so happy for Wenaas. Everyone except Hugh knew last year that she didn’t belong on the right.
Most of this season she struggled a bit back on the left. But damn she put in the work and it paid off today.

Ok, I’m gonna use the word fluke here. I’m not saying Texas wouldn’t have won, but no serious volleyball fan can watch these last couple sets and think it could be replicated in any meaningful way. Texas just had that golden touch this week. When you repeat your national championship from the previous year, "fluke" is not the word that comes to my mind. |
