Good game and congrats to Texas. Skinner, O'Neal, Wenaas. Y'all were amazing, and completely deserving of this championship. Took down #1 Stanford, #1 Wisconsin, and #1 Nebraska. Doesn't get much better than that. Honestly, I have mad respect for your program, and y'all have a legacy with some of the best players in the game. Honestly, it's about time y'all got your 4th title (5th, really). Enjoy this one. And congrats again. |

What I really wanted was a close 5 set match that showcased the sport of volleyball.
Oh, wait. No I didn’t.
This is exactly what I wanted. A complete domination of Nebraska. No other program I’d rather beat. To put this kind of beatdown on them, in this setting. Pummeled then in serve/pass. Lol!
5 national championships. LOVE IT!

Honestly, she's a great libero. But I think it does show the limitations of the position. She was better overall last year. She had a different player on the back court with her last year. |

Nebraska did play bad, and bad games happen, but a true amazing team does not show up to the national championship and play like that… congrats Texas, you gave it to them

Ok, I’m gonna use the word fluke here. I’m not saying Texas wouldn’t have won, but no serious volleyball fan can watch these last couple sets and think it could be replicated in any meaningful way. Texas just had that golden touch this week. This is the replication of what they did Thursday. Well Thursday would be part of this week, would it not? Also, separate from serve receive there were just a lot of plays that just happened to go Texas way. Like multiple balls here in the 3rd literally hung up on the net after the block touch for Texas to go back over on one and score the point. That not stuff teams practice or plan for. |

No disrespect to the Huskers, I'm a firm believer that Texas sweeping them is a huge fluke and robs the Huskers of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Huskers play great volleyball it's just not fair.
If the Huskers lose again I will face that the Longhorns deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Huskers and the NCAA.

Amazing. Texas got stronger and stronger as the match went on. That's about as complete a match I've ever seen any team play.
