I wouldn’t say a fluke but Texas certainly got lucky. Not many watched the Tennessee match go back to that thread or rewatch the match. Some close calls and them losing their libero. Imagine if Texas lost Halter or Nebraska Rodriguez. Sometimes a team gets hot at the right time.
I feel better about the way Stanford lost to Texas now really played well all things considered seeing them dismantle Nebraska and Wisconsin.
Texas had Miss December Madisen Skinner and Swindle didn’t complicate it. A great coaching job and a very unlikely champion not many thought would take this.

They’re don’t need to hang their heads for sure but it was a bit of an embarrassing performance for them I would think. That just happens in life though … on to another challenge |

Congrats to the Longhorns.
They played flawless when it really mattered.
Skinner to be a 3 time champion and coming back next year is insane!
But girl knows how to show up and show out

IMO Swindle's standing setting makes it that much more hard to read. Jump setting as a skill itself doesn’t really provide a massive advantage to your team. Ella has much better location when standing than when jumping and the improvement in the tournament alone needs to be studied by science That is why she is not jumpsetting. It is not her ankle. |
