No disrespect to the Huskers, I'm a firm believer that Texas sweeping them is a huge fluke and robs the Huskers of truly accomplishing what their capable of. I've spent the last few days in pure disbelief and it just doesn't make sense to me. I've spent the entire regular season watching the Huskers play great volleyball it's just not fair. If the Huskers lose again I will face that the Longhorns deserved the win, but I am just 100% sure it was a fluke and does a big disservice to the Huskers and the NCAA. /s FLUKE! PUT THE CRACK PIPE DOWN. THIS IS THE SAME BEATDOWN TEXAS PUT ON WISCONSIN & STANFORD. IT'S CALLED "IMPOSING YOUR WILL"

How about Emma Halter and the performance she put on the past two weeks? She was a steady force for the Longhorns in serve receive, floor defense and in OOS setting. At the beginning of the match when the two teams were slugging it out, Emma's touches settled the Longhorns side and put them right back in system. Great job! SO glad she made the all tournament team!!! incredible all around libero

I know they want to spread around the awards - but, Wenaas should have made the All-Tournament team over Beason.
Seriously - pretty much everyone has made a joke or comment (incl. me) about Wenaas and girl brought it late when it mattered. That's just awesome to see.

Texas repeating isnāt the fluke. Itās HOW they did it. Itās kind of rude to say fluke. They peaked when it mattered and thatās what youāre supposed to do. āFlukeā is so loaded and petty Well, whatever you want to call it, these scoring lines go beyond Texas "peaking". 4 of the last 5 set scores for Texas were -13, -16, -14, -11, against two top Pablo teams on a neutral court. If you think it's just about Texas' peaking, ok, but I disagree, and if that's petty, so be it, I'm not losing sleep at night.

Wisconsin and Stanford would disagree. Texas was just outstanding. They put up way more of a fight lol this was a complete embarrassment Yes. The team that beat Stanford, won the conference that Wisconsin played in, is clearly inferior. Great point.

They put up way more of a fight lol this was a complete embarrassment Says the fan who has never,Played, coached, or been around a significant match. Get off your high horse! Any Nebraska fan will tell you that this is not how the team looked all season. The last set especially there was 0 fight and a lack of composure. All credit to Texas serving but Nebraska had weathered the storm against many other fantastic serving teams this season. I will say I shouldāve been more empathetic in my statement because I canāt imagine the nerves and pressure they were under.

Congratulations to Texas! They were outstanding! As a Husker fan, I was hoping fr a better outcome, but they manhandled us. A closer game would have been better for the tv audience and volleyball but wow-Texas is on top of their game! As a Texas fan, I was hoping a nail biting 5 setter.

From 10-7 Neb in the second set, Texas went on a 43-15 scoring run. I've never seen anything like it at this stage of the tournament.

Jump setting as a skill itself doesnāt really provide a massive advantage to your team. Ella has much better location when standing than when jumping and the improvement in the tournament alone needs to be studied by science That is why she is not jumpsetting. It is not her ankle. Or just maybe, jump setting requires more coordination.
