Cook throwin a little shade at O’Neal in the presser…. The part where he talked up how well she played on the national stage and how she brought that experience to college? Cook was highly complimentary of Texas, and specifically O'Neal. Don't create fictional drama. |

if I’m a Nebraska fan, I don’t like Lexi saying she “doesn’t have to give a pep talk” heading into next year
I’ve never seen a team need a pep talk more and everyone was silent. you can attribute that to no seniors but Lexi and Beason are the obvious leaders of the team… they need you to be vocal.

Nebraska's presser going on right now: Interesting comment from Cook on the last question. Saying TX has half of the team are 4th/5th year players, with the exception of Swindle. Cook also says that he likes what Nebraska is doing, recruiting players and making them great.  |

Nebraska's presser going on right now:
Some of Cook's comments are a little petty imo. Coming after O'Neal for training in the national team gym and using her 6th year (when he also went to work to try to use Caffey for a 7th year...). He also makes comments about Texas's use of the portal when he himself picked up some of the biggest names in the portal: Beason and Hord. It's not a good look. Coupled w/ the circulating stories of the way he treated Akana and Caffey, it makes it hard to root for Nebraska when Cook is at the helm. |
