Cook should not have taken advice from Beason about being patient at this point. Had he showed Elliott level emotion, maybe Nebraska would have responded better than they did. Hard to say. But that’s not Cook’s MO. He was awful quiet and dejected. He wasn’t even rolling his eyes like he usually does. |

that press conference was a mess. I had hopes when cook opened it up complimenting texas for playing a great match, but everything he said about them afterwards was just giving major sore loser vibes

Congrats to the TRUE America’s Team, the Texas Longhorns, left big red hand prints all over the Huskers. Side stories - Aden Ames now looks like a genius and/or a clairvoyant. - No Hunt or Larson because ABC is NOT a family company. Give the gente the chismes we came here for!!!! I’m sure there is more out there… TRUE America's team? 🤮 Of any of the teams in college, Nebraska would win a scientific poll hands down ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT. Usually being in the Midwest lends more towards being an America's team not anything associated to Texas.
For instance (Cowboys linebacker D. D. Lewis once famously said that "Texas Stadium has a hole in its roof, so God can watch His favorite team play" Surprising that the Texas proponent would be an arrogant blo-hard? Heck no.
I am not lost on the delusion of midwesterners believing they are the heart of the country. |

Congrats to the Long Horns! Kudos especially to Coach JE! This post season completely changed my perspective on the man as a coach.
What a rough landing for me to the 3-0 result! Getting that close and not quite getting there is disappointing for sure. However, for Husker fans let’s not lose sight of the fact that this team overachieved all season. Back in August I thought the team might have a chance at Final Four and I thought there was a fair amount of homerism involved in that confidence.
The entire team come back next year, however, and the program in general is in a very healthy state. There are plenty to be optimistic about.

Nebraska's presser going on right now: Interesting comment from Cook on the last question. Saying TX has half of the team are 4th/5th year players, with the exception of Swindle. Cook also says that he likes what Nebraska is doing, recruiting players and making them great.  Its giving Loser |

Nebraska's presser going on right now:
Some of Cook's comments are a little petty imo. Coming after O'Neal for training in the national team gym and using her 6th year (when he also went to work to try to use Caffey for a 7th year...). He also makes comments about Texas's use of the portal when he himself picked up some of the biggest names in the portal: Beason and Hord. It's not a good look. Coupled w/ the circulating stories of the way he treated Akana and Caffey, it makes it hard to root for Nebraska when Cook is at the helm. Could not agree more |
